The "Les Talens Lyriques" Association at the Toussaint Clinic
Music Comes to the Hospital
Since September 2021, the musicians of the Les Talens Lyriques association have been regularly visiting the Toussaint Clinic in Strasbourg to meet with patients in the palliative care units. Through concerts, workshops, and musical encounters, they offer much more than just an artistic moment: they transform a simple moment into an emotional experience, rekindle joy, and bring comfort.
In the common areas or directly in the patients' rooms, these performances create a haven of peace and tranquility for patients, their families, and caregivers alike.

A project supported by our foundation
Our foundation is delighted to support one of the projects of the association Les Talens Lyriques as part of our commitment to the well-being of seniors and vulnerable individuals. Thanks to this partnership, more than 100 beneficiaries enjoy these musical interludes each year, which help to combat isolation, soothe the mind, and nurture human connection within the hospital.
The project, "If Music Is Food for the Soul," is part of a comprehensive approach: making music a complementary care tool, capable of easing the daily lives of hospitalized patients.
An encounter between artists and patients
The musicians of Les Talens Lyriques don't just perform in concert: they take the time to talk, listen, and adapt their repertoire according to the desires and emotions of the moment. Baroque, classical, traditional… each note resonates differently depending on the setting and the people. These moments serve as bridges between the world of music and the world of healthcare, reminding us that art can also heal, soothe, and bring people together.
An Ongoing Project
Building on its success and the warm reception it has received, this project continues to grow:
– New musical performances are planned until the end of the year, still at the Clinique de la Toussaint.
– Ultimately, the association hopes to extend this initiative to other healthcare facilities, in Strasbourg and elsewhere, to bring music to where it is most needed.
We are happy and proud to see this project grow, to witness the joy it brings, and to participate in these moments of sharing and humanity within the hospital.
