The On Seniors’ Side Foundation and EGPE association at the Damart Paris Fashion Show

During the major fashion show held on October 13 at the Damart Haussmann store in Paris, the On Seniors’ Side Foundation stepped up to highlight the European Grandparents’ School (EGPE).

A Great Platform for Raising Awareness and Engaging the Public

Beyond the trends and excitement of the fashion show, this event provided the association with visibility among customers. A booth was set up to highlight the EGPE’s initiatives, and customers could stop by to ask questions of the association’s representatives. It was an opportunity to showcase the richness of its initiatives and inspire future volunteers by engaging with those eager to get involved.

A Closer Look at the EGPE’s Initiatives: Connection and Compassion

The association works to highlight the role of seniors in society and foster connections between generations. Among its flagship initiatives are writing and language workshops, as well as the “Les Babalias” project, which we support. This program enables trained volunteer grandparents to provide attentive and gentle support to young single parents upon the arrival of their first child.

Highlighting our partner organizations during key moments at our stores perfectly illustrates the Foundation’s mission: to build bridges, recognize the skills of our seniors, and strengthen our sense of community.
