Project: The project aims to improve the well-being of older people by removing barriers that prevent those with reduced mobility from accessing nature on an equal footing. The financial support enables YDMT to fund the purchase of additional all-terrain vehicles for use at designated sites in the Yorkshire Dales. This will also allow intergenerational groups to spend time together in nature and enjoy the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. By improving access, more seniors will be able to enjoy these special qualities, enhancing their well-being and creating opportunities for intergenerational activities in nature.

In January and June 2025, our colleagues at Damart (UK) participated in a corporate volunteering initiative with the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust. This initiative involved planting trees and managing forests in the Yorkshire Dales countryside.

The project has benefited from our funding twice (2023 and 2025), proof of mutual trust and the smooth progress of our collaboration.
