Pulse has launched the New Direction program, a support program for individuals over 50 who want to give new meaning to their careers by exploring the opportunities offered by impact entrepreneurship.

Organization: Pulse
Supported Project: New Direction (2024)
This is a comprehensive and customized 3-month program. It offers group sessions, personalized support through individual follow-up meetings with a dedicated advisor, networking opportunities with experts in specific fields (business development, communication, impact measurement, etc.), visits to social and solidarity economy (SSE) hubs in Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis, and inspiring encounters with entrepreneurs, partners, and other stakeholders in the ecosystem.
The program unfolds as follows:
1. Sourcing activities: participation in and involvement in events and meetings related to senior employment.
2. Call for applications and sourcing activities: To identify projects, PULSE will launch a call for applications, which will be promoted through a broad communication campaign.
Following the call for applications, 20 project leaders will be selected based on various criteria. The selected candidates will receive free, personalized support for three months. All applicants not selected for the program will be referred to other support programs suited to their projects.
The program includes:
Group workshops comprised of modules on the social and solidarity economy and entrepreneurial mindset.
Personalized support through monthly individual follow-up meetings with the program coordinator.
Inspiring events and meetings: inspirational sessions, roundtables, testimonials from entrepreneurs, to discover and integrate into the impact entrepreneurship ecosystem.
A "learning visit" to discover the key players in the social and solidarity economy (SSE) and meet them.
Access to a toolkit: each project leader receiving support has access to a toolkit on the platform.
This includes training materials as well as news related to funding opportunities and ecosystem events.
New project – PULSIDE (2025)
Following the success of the Nouveau Cap program, the PULSE association is launching a new initiative in 2025: PULSIDE, specifically designed for seniors aged 55 and over.
This project aims to support individuals often facing challenges with career transitions or integration by offering them a comprehensive 3-month program. The program combines:
group workshops to structure and secure an impactful entrepreneurial project,
innovative digital training in no-code tools and artificial intelligence,
personalized support with individual appointments,
inspiring meetings with key players in the social and solidarity economy (SSE) ecosystem.
Thanks to PULSIDE, 20 seniors per cohort will benefit from this support free of charge, with the aim of restoring their confidence, developing transferable skills, and fostering sustainable professional integration.
This new program marks a significant step in PULSIDE's commitment to the employability and inclusion of seniors, particularly in disadvantaged areas such as Seine-Saint-Denis and Paris.
