Papy Boom is an association committed to the well-being and fulfillment of seniors, offering them adapted physical, cultural, and social activities that promote vitality, conviviality, and intergenerational connections.
Celebrating the Energy and Solidarity of Seniors
We are delighted to support Papy Boom in organizing the tenth Inter-Home Olympics, a unique event that honors seniors and celebrates their dynamism through sport, conviviality, and community.
A large-scale sporting and charitable event
This new edition will take place in an exceptional setting: the King Baudouin Stadium, the largest stadium in Belgium. It will bring together 24 care homes, including 22 Belgian, one French, and one Luxembourgish, for a day dedicated to fun and pushing personal limits.
Organized in partnership with the Haute École de Bruxelles, these Olympics rely on the active participation of students in special education, physical education teacher training, and future physiotherapists, who will put their skills to work for the residents.

Archery, Volleyball, And the famous wheelchair race, a highlight of the event!
These sporting and recreational activities are designed to promote mobility, cooperation, and the joy of play, while adapting to everyone's abilities.
An intergenerational and unifying event
More than 350 participants are expected—residents, caregivers, students, and spectators—to share this wonderful moment of joy, exchange, and solidarity. The Inter-Home Olympics are not just about competition: they embody a genuine connection between generations, where seniors and young people collaborate, encourage each other, and learn from one another.
Addressing essential challenges
This event aims to:
Break isolation and foster connections between care homes,
Promote the value of old age and change perceptions of aging,
Encourage adapted physical activity and overall well-being,
Create intergenerational bonds through cooperation between students and residents,
And promote a positive and dynamic image of care facilities.
