Why did you become an ambassador for your business unit? What motivates you?

When I joined Damart in 2018, in the Communications department, I wanted to get involved in a different way for our customers.

Presenting projects to the steering committee, sharing ideas with colleagues from other departments and other brands within the group is a great source of motivation for keeping the foundation going.

And the contact with the associations is so enriching!

What is your role as an ambassador for Damart France?

I am a point of contact for Damart France employees who want to propose a project, present an association, or sponsor a project. I follow up with them, pass on their proposals, and debrief the sponsors after the steering committee's decisions. I communicate about the successes (sponsored projects) and the foundation's mission through departmental meetings, posters, and videos on screens at various locations.

Do you have a story to share about the foundation?

I attended a presentation by the "Un Toit à partager" (A Roof to Share) association at a foundation committee meeting. I told a friend from Lille about this project; she was looking for accommodation for her son, who was studying in Arras. Two months later, a pairing was formed: Martin moved in with Maurice!
