Association: Habitat et Humanisme

To address the exclusion of people in difficulty, the association works to provide housing, promote social integration, and rebuild social connections. Its aim is to prevent the loss of independence among seniors and foster intergenerational connections, community spirit, and openness to the outside world.

Project 1: 2024

Prevent the loss of independence among seniors and promote intergenerational connections, community spirit, and openness to the outside world by creating an adapted fitness trail and a pétanque court in the residence's garden. These two safe and adapted facilities will stimulate the motor skills and cognitive abilities of seniors to prevent loss of independence.

Project 2: 2026

True to its commitment to the association, our Foundation is renewing its support for this organization, which actively works to combat isolation and loss of independence. While in 2024 the partnership focused on physical and cognitive stimulation through the installation of a fitness trail and a pétanque court, 2026 marks a new phase centered on psychological well-being and support for caregivers.

➤ This new project, entitled "Moments of Respite for Caregivers with the Harp," offers a mediation-relaxation approach through music and the awakening of the five senses. Aware of the mental burden and exhaustion experienced by those caring for an elderly or ill loved one, this 10-hour workshop program aims to provide participants with concrete tools to manage their stress, acknowledge their emotions, and allow themselves much-needed time to disconnect.

This is a natural evolution of our collaboration: after improving the living space, we are now supporting the human element at the heart of care, by helping caregivers regain peace of mind.
