No longer being afraid to talk about fears, creating the conditions for calm dialogue—this is something that a disease with a strong social taboo makes difficult. Yet, it could change the course of life for those who face it. It is therefore essential to combat the ideas that confine and prevent people from daring to get diagnosed as early as possible in order to have more time and resources to imagine and plan for the future.

Supported Project: Caregiver Training

Caregiver training will provide caregivers with a better understanding of the disease, a better understanding of available personal, social, and financial support, a better relationship with the person with the disease, a better understanding of the types of activities to offer the person with the disease, and a better way to cope with difficult situations.
