The association, Ensemble 2 Générations, has created a concept that provides free or low-cost housing for students in exchange for their presence or services in the homes of senior citizens.

The supported project: Opening of an intergenerational co-living agency

The creation of this new agency will provide free or low-cost housing for students in exchange for their presence or services in the homes of senior citizens in the city of Vannes. This addresses three major challenges:

Enabling seniors to remain in their homes as long as possible thanks to the presence of a student,

Helping students in difficulty to access free housing in exchange for services and companionship,

Relieving family caregivers by ensuring their parents are safe.

The Foundation contributed to the funding for the opening of this agency.
