Which association do you sponsor? How did you find out about it?

The association I sponsor is À Vélo Sans Âge (Cycling Without Age), specifically the Lille branch. The association has several branches throughout France, and it was two volunteers who met on the Facebook group "Cycliste à Lille" (Cyclist in Lille) who decided to launch the Lille branch together.

It was Perrine Bruggeman who informed us at

the company that this association was looking for a sponsor. As a cyclist myself, owning a cargo bike, and wanting to sponsor one of the projects of the On Senor Side Foundation, I decided (convinced by Perrine) to support AVSA Lille.

In a few words, how does the Foundation help the association?

The association's motto is the right to the wind in your hair and the light in your eyes. It offers rides on tricycles, piloted by a volunteer, to elderly people living in retirement homes. The Foundation enabled the association to acquire new tricycles this year.

If you could describe your experience with the association in one or two sentences:

It's both a human initiative that creates enriching intergenerational connections and an opportunity to offer seniors a chance to get out of the house and enjoy the fresh air at a leisurely pace. And in an environmentally friendly way.
