Our foundation, an integral part of Damartex’s CSR policy, was highlighted in an article published by Réseau Alliances. Titled "A Story of Consistency and Purpose: How the Damartex Group Promotes Healthy Aging for Seniors," the article outlines the strong commitments that guide our day-to-day actions.
On this occasion, Joséphine Biernacki (CSR Director at Damartex and Director of the On Seniors’ Side Foundation) was interviewed to share the vision and impact of our initiative.
From CSR Strategy to the Creation of Our Foundation
This article traces the evolution of the Damartex Group’s commitments: from implementing more responsible purchasing practices and reducing plastic use to the collaborative creation of the *On Seniors’ Side* Foundation in 2019. The goal has always been to unite all initiatives and act together, focusing on three clear priorities:
Keeping seniors active
Combating isolation through intergenerational connections
Supporting caregivers in their daily lives
Human, tangible support for our seniors
Beyond financial aid, the article highlights the human dimension of our actions. Whether through having a Group employee sponsor each project or partnering with various organizations, we are committed to forging genuine connections on the ground. To date, the Foundation is proud to have reached over 80,000 beneficiaries and distributed €750,000 to help shift society's perspective on aging!
